u3a Policies
All u3as must abide by certain policies. You can view these below.
In any organisation, complaints will occur from time to time and it is important that members know where to turn for help, advice and support so that, whatever the issue, it can be dealt with quickly, objectively and appropriately. In the first instance, complaints should be directed towards the committee of the u3a. The link details the procedure
This procedure sets out how u3a Dumfries will approach problems related to a breach or suspected breach of the agreed Code of Conduct by a member or Trustee.
This policy has been drawn up to comply with the Equality Act 2010. The Act stipulates that organisations cannot treat someone unfairly on the basis of what it calls ‘protected characteristics
The purpose of this policy is to demonstrate the commitment of u3a Dumfries to safeguarding their members
A Trustee code of conduct is an agreement between the organisation and the individual committee member which spells out the standards of behaviour expected from Trustees
Our privacy policy sets out how we will deal with your ‘personal information’. If you need to update your details please contact our Membership Secretary Sue Price
