The Byways and Beyond walking group meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month. To encourage car sharing  we normally assemble at Brooms Road car park at 9.50. . We share petrol costs.

Walks generally range from 4 to 7 miles. Walks are undertaken at your own risk.

Walking boots and waterproofs are necessary and we ask members to carry their own first aid essentials. We also ask members to carry details of emergency contacts and any relevant medical conditions or medication.

Details and a description of each walk are published by email about 10 days before the walk takes place  and members should notify the Group Leader if they intend to come.

We have a membership of 25 though, on the average walk, numbers are usually in the teens. Members are encouraged to lead walks occasionally once they are established in the group and comfortable with the idea.

We are not, however, taking new members at the moment.
