Poetry Lovers - Reading and discussion of poetry for pleasure. No experience required, just enthusiasm.
A different topic is chosen for every meeting, and each member is invited to bring along two poems on the subject to share with the group by reading aloud.. The poems can be of any kind, from the very familiar poetry of our schooldays, to recently written modern verse.
No special knowledge is needed, just an enjoyment of poetry
We currently have a membership of 7, but some members attend monthly rather than fortnightly.
For new members, if twice a month is difficult,, a monthly visit would be very acceptable
Just come when you can, and we shall be delighted to see you
