The Silicon Age started in the 1950’s and represents the most rapid change in technological advancement in human existence. Microchip technology now dominates our lives: from the Mobile Phone to the Internet and all that keeps us connected. 

But how did we get from the age of the “Slide Rule” to the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in such a short time. This talk will take you through a timeline of some of the key technology events and people who have made this all happen. 

AI is constantly in the news, but what exactly is AI and where is it going to take us? The simple answer to that question may surprise you.
