The group visits gardens on the first Wednesday of each month from May to October with other activities in November and December.
A warm welcome is extended for garden-lovers to enjoy Dumfries & Galloway's garden gems, both public and private. We make either full or half day visits which include an informal lunch in a friendly atmosphere. Good gardens, good company, good food.
The price of Scotland’s Gardens Scheme is £5 per person and some of the gardeners have asked for that amount. This will be collected at the beginning of the visit. This is usually donated towards the cost of upkeep or charity of their choice. Prior to each visit an email will be sent to members giving directions, asking for confirmation of who will be attending and if a lunch place is required as bookings have to be made.
